From its signature paint scheme, representing Germany's most decorated Stuka pilot, Hans-Ulrich Rudel, to its replica armament, no detail was too much for Louis to incorporate into this aircraft. Louisiana Tech University is seeking a highly qualified Chief Flight Instructor for its Part 141 flight program for an immediate fill. The successful candidate will be responsible for Chief Flight Instructor duties as defined in 14 CFR Part 141.35.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the management of an FAA part 141 flight school. 
• Conducts required stage check and end of course flights. 
• Hires flight instructors and standardizes all flight instructors, as per federal regulations. Monitors all flight operations. 
• Ensures compliance with all applicable FAA regulations. 
• Receives and processes student progress reports from flight instructors.  
• Responsible for teaching five classes per year.
• Work schedule is determined by student loads. Some flight training is conducted at night and on weekends.

I have two “vacuum” attitude indicators that were recently rebuilt and never removed from packaging until taking pics for this ad. Both have the FAA 3130-3 Airworthiness tags and are ready to be installed! One is a Sigma Tek and the other is an Aeritalia. Both look fantastic as they should. They were rebuilt by Aircraft Quality Instruments, Inc. last August.  I had intended for my personal airplanes but those have been sold.

Our aircraft is hangared at KMJD, Picayune Mississippi. This is a five member co-ownership non-profit LLC named Foxtrot Papa, LLC. Monthly dues are $200.00 and flight time is $90.00 per hour wet. The 2024 annual was just completed in May 10th and the bi-annual  IFR/Pitot-Static was completed Oct. 01, 2024 with a new altitude encoder and ELT battery installed. Our last annuals (June, 2017, May 2018, February, 2020, Feb. 2021, March, 2022 and April, 2023) were extensive and thorough by Phillips Aviation. At the time for the 2019 annual N15FP was down awaiting the new engine. The last and most recent annual was done by Dispatch Aviation and completed May 10th, 2024. N15FP is equipped with ADS-B in and out (Stratus ESG and linked Stratus 2S) and a KLN-64 DME. VOR and LOC/GS approaches capable. Recently (7/2022) a Garmin GPS-175 and GI-106B CDI was installed for RNAV approaches Currently N15FP has a Lycoming factory “zero time” O320-H2AD, 160 hp. engine (installed Sept. 2019) which is broken in and currently has about 300 hours on the engine. The aircraft has an L.E.D.  Landing light and a dynamic prop balance was done in June, 2020. It has fresh main Goodyear tires (balanced) with new brake pads and rotors as well. Recent added features include Rosen visors, door stewards and a CHT (cylinder head temperature by ASL ECT204B) monitor. We also have an EZ-Go gas powered tug to move N15FP around with. Also when 15 FP is hangared a battery maintainer is connected.

Interested parties may be low-time but for insurance reasons it is preferred they have their private pilot’s license. Our aircraft is hangared at KMJD, Picayune Mississippi. This is a five member co-ownership non-profit LLC named Foxtrot Papa, LLC. Monthly dues are $200.00 and flight time is $90.00 per hour wet. The 2024 annual was just completed in May 10th and the next IFR cert is due in September 2024. Our last annuals (June, 2017, May 2018, February, 2020, Feb. 2021, March, 2022 and April, 2023) were extensive and through by Phillips Aviation. At the time for the 2019 annual N15FP was down awaiting the new engine. The last and most recent annual was done by Dispatch Aviation and completed May 10th, 2024. N15FP is equipped with ADS-B in and out (Stratus ESG and Stratus 2S) and a KLN-64 DME. VOR and LOC/GS approaches capable. Recently 7/2022) a Garmin GPS-175 and GI-106B CDI was installed for RNAV approaches Currently N15FP has a Lycoming factory “zero time” O320-H2AD, 160 hp. engine (installed Sept. 2019) which is broken in and currently has about 277 hours on the engine. The aircraft has an L.E.D.  Landing light and a dynamic prop balance was done in June, 2020. It has fresh main Goodyear tires (balanced) with new brake pads and rotors as well. Recent added features include Rosen visors, door stewards and a CHT (cylinder head temperature by ASL ECT204B) monitor. We also have an EZ-Go gas powered tug to move N15FP around with. When hangared a battery maintainer is connected.

Interested parties may be low-time but for insurance reasons it is preferred they have their private pilot’s license. The East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office dive/rescue team sometimes works air shows where they have to respond if an aircraft goes down in the water. Their team is very well trained and has the most modern equipment to respond to vehicles, evidence, persons, etc in the water. However, they do not have experience in attempting to rescue a warbird pilot from the water.  After team discussion, they are now attempting to locate a T6, T28, etc/warbird fuselage that they can practice opening the canopy, giving life support to the pilot, cutting the straps, etc and getting the pilot out safely.

Rotec R2800 I bought to update as a backup for another engine. It has all the latest Rotec upgrades including new studs, rod and crank bushings, impeller, rocker bushings, rocker cups, alternator drive and planetary gears. This is the early model with the billet heads and was a zero time engine ( other than factory test time) when I got it. The Lafayette NATCA established its disaster relief fund in 1992 in the wake of Hurricane Andrew in Florida. They are currently selling shirts to raise money for this fund.

Due to the generosity of our membership, our fund has continued to grow and has allowed NATCA members to help those affected after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita (2005), Ike (2008), Sandy (2012), Matthew (2016), Harvey (2017), Irma (2017), and Maria (2017), and the 2016 flooding in Baton Rouge, La.

The fund aids NATCA members who have experienced catastrophic losses of property and helps provide a lifeline during those most desperate times. NATCA will work directly with affected members to help them purchase food, gasoline, or any other supplies that might be required. We will have volunteers ready to deliver supplies as soon as we know the need.

The 2022 annual was just completed in March and the next IFR cert is due in September 2022. Our last four annuals May 2018, May 2020, Feb. 2021 and Mar. 2022) were extensive and through by Phillips Aviation. This Langhurst Stuka replica is a one-of-a-kind, airworthy, two-seat 7/10 scale replica of the German WWII JU-87 Stuka dive bomber. This unique aircraft would make an incredible addition to any warbird enthusiast's collection! Presently owned by the Commemorative Air Force and operated by the Big Easy Wing, this aircraft was built by Louis Langhurst in the US over a 6-year period and completed in 1979.  With no original blueprints available, Langhurst developed the plans for the replica based on one of the only two original, intact Stukas in existence. The aircraft is based on the most produced type during WWII, the Ju 87B-2 Stuka.  

This Stuka replica is painted in the same scheme and unit markings as that of Germany's most highly decorated Stuka pilot, Oberst Hans-Ulrich Rudel, who commanded III Gruppe/Stuka Geschwader 2 Immelman (III./StG2) on the Eastern Front during WWII. In November of 1980, Rudel was actually able to fly in this very aircraft! Of the plane's performance he stated: "It is handling exactly as the real Stuka, only how nice to fly one and not be shot at!" 

The world class aircraft was on display at the San Diego Air and Space Museum for ten years and has since been featured in a number of videos throughout the years and has flown in airshows around the country, including EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI.

The Langhurst Stuka has completed conditional inspections and is fully airworthy.  Currently, the aircraft is in need of an ADS-B. The aircraft is equipped with smoke oil generator and a working siren to simulate WW2 aerial action.

Due to family health issues and a subsequent move to another state I am having to sell my Zenith CH750 CruZer.  Originally built as a STOL and then converted to the CruZer configuration.  it is in Phase 1 testing with about 20+ hours.  Powered by a rebuilt Lycoming 0-320 150 hp engine with recently rebuilt Slick magnetos the plane is completely vinyl wrapped and has 21 inch tires with an additional set of 8 inch tires included.  It has a glass panel utilizing the Levil Aviation 3 AW driving two Apple air 2 iPads either of which can display AHRS or navigation data including ADS-B in.  Engine info is supplied by a GRT EIS 4000.  It has a MGL V6 transceiver, a Collins transponder, and a reserve lift indicator.  Vortex Generators are mounted on the wing, horizontal and vertical stabilizers.  Usable fuel capacity is approximately 31 gallons with 2 15 gallon wing tanks and a 3 gallon header tank.  Throttle and brakes are supplied on both sides with a center “Y” yoke.  Trim and flap extension is electric.  Price is $80,000.
